College Projects

I created several games in college, both on my own and in teams of up to 6 people. Here are a few of those projects.

Project Camelot

Designed with a team of 6, Project Camelot is a Hack ‘n Slash game revolving around the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. The player must defeat all enemies in a given plot of land to continue to the next one, saving Knights along the way, and eventually taking over the main castle, in order to establish his reign as King. I produced all custom assets, including King Arthur, the Knights, enemies, weapons, and other structures. In addition, I assisted in the production of animation assets, using a kinect for motion capture. I also am in charge of sound design and implementation, using FL Studio to create music, as well as recording of sound effects.

Hunter Island

Designed with a team of 5, this tabletop board game combining elements of Dungeons & Dragons, MOBA, and card collecting. Players choose a class and defeat monsters and/or each other while growing stronger in order to collect the designated number of stars first. Stars are given out by high level enemies that force the player to prepare by buying certain weapons, armor, and items. I am the creator of the idea for the game. In addition, I, along with all other members, have gone through multiple play tests in order to solidify the rules, as well as come up with ideas for more cards, enemies and other improvements. Once all rules and cards are finalized, art assets will be created and pieces will be purchased in order to give players a high quality, immersive analogue game.

Prison Rush

Designed with a team of 4, this game is a Contra-inspired run & gun. I provided or created all art for the project. Implemented most art into the game with code using C# and XNA. Designed some levels and programmed the animation and actions for the final boss, shop, and user interface.
